After you pay
Three things happen, none of them a person
- The chain confirmsProvisioning starts on the required confirmations. No human approves anything in between, and nothing is queued for review.
- The machine is racked and burned inMemory and disks are tested before the operating system goes on. This is most of the ~15 min — and it is why we do not claim “instant”.
- Credentials arrive, IPMI separatelyConsole credentials are sent in a second message so the two never sit in one inbox together.
Payment step
One address, one exact amount
The next screen shows one single-use address and one exact amount. Nothing is charged before you send it, and nothing renews by itself.
The live invoice carries the amount with odd decimals, a rate held for 30 minutes, one address on the network you picked, and the confirmations needed before the build starts.
What happens to the root password I type here?
It is used once, at build time, to set the account on the machine, and then discarded. It is not written to our database in any form — not hashed, not encrypted, not “temporarily”. The honest consequence: we cannot send it back if you lose it. We can reset it from the panel, and the reset is visible to you. If that trade bothers you, choose the SSH key and no password ever exists.
Can I change the image or the array afterwards?
The image, yes — a rebuild takes about as long as the original build and costs nothing. The array, no: it is set at build and changing it means rebuilding the machine, which is why that question sits in the form rather than in the panel. If you are unsure, take the mirrored option; it is the one nobody regrets.
Is anything here a subscription trap?
No option is pre-ticked, there is no setup fee on any plan, no minimum term, and no cancellation fee. Cancel on day two and unused whole days come back pro rata in the coin you paid with. The annual price is a discount rather than a lock-in — cancel mid-year and the remaining days are still refunded.
What if I need something this form cannot express?
Ask from the panel. Custom core counts, more disks, a /29 of addresses, a specific CPU stepping, a chassis that is not listed — all routine, all quoted in writing before you commit to anything. What we will not do is quote a price and then discover a setup fee.
